Position: Senior Systems Implementation Consultant

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Description:

KLH Consulting satisfies the information technology needs of clients running ERP systems in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. As a Senior Implementation Consultant you will play a key role in fitting our application offerings to client business practices. An in-depth knowledge of business practices including inventory management, distribution, and/or manufacturing is essential to success in this position. Additionally, applicants should have strong ERP applications experience.

Duties:
  • Support business development, by helping the sales team assess prospects' needs and propose and demonstrate appropriate solutions.
  • Perform needs assessments, discovering client business needs and goals, and design comprehensive IT solutions to meet those needs and goals.
  • Plan and lead implementations of comprehensive ERP solutions.
  • Identify and respond to customer questions, issues, and service opportunities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure that they continue to effectively use IT as a tool to achieving their business goals.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external resources in tasks relating to implementation under sometimes demanding time constraints.
  • Determine work priorities for yourself and others in accordance with project plans, timelines, fluid work demands, and implementation policies and practices.
  • Communicate project status and key issues effectively to clients and KLH management.
  • Create high level but detailed programming specifications of required application modifications.
  • Perform end user training for small groups.
  • Occasionally travel to obtain application technical certifications and perform onsite implementation tasks for clients.
Qualifications:
  • Require minimum BS/BA in Business or Computer Science. Prefer MBA with technical undergraduate.
  • CPA or other significant accounting experience.
  • Over 10 years experience working with business systems with an emphasis in inventory, distribution, and/or manufacturing systems.
  • Immersion in an implementation environment, preferably with successful lead of two or more ERP system implementations or version upgrades.
